Job summary

ATG Entertainment is seeking a Stage Door Receptionist to welcome visitors, manage passes and assist contractors across shifts. You will work across morning, afternoon and evening slots as part of the Back of House team, ensuring professional communication between departments.

The role requires strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to stay calm in a busy theatre environment, with training provided where necessary. Compliance with safety procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and commitment to customer service.
• Ability to work in a busy environment and under pressure.
• Reliable and punctual with a good eye for detail.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends/evenings.
• Good administrative/IT skills and able to use own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm welcome and efficient reception to all visitors and contractors.
• Maintain security by issuing passes and logging entrants accurately.
• Monitor CCTV, operate the fire panel and manage door/access controls.
• Handle telephone calls, take messages and transfer as needed.
• Open/close the venue as required and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
