Circle Health Group’s Shirley Oaks Hospital in Croydon is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to lead the Theatre team across anaesthetics, surgery and recovery. This full-time role is 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern and a salary of up to £70,000 per year, depending on experience.

You will drive patient safety, governance and clinical standards, develop the multidisciplinary theatre team, and ensure efficient scheduling and resource planning to deliver outstanding perioperative

Qualifications

• NMC or HCPC registered with perioperative leadership experience.
• Strong background in anaesthetics, scrub, or recovery within theatre settings.
• Proven leadership and team management skills; able to coach and develop others.
• Strong organisational and planning skills with knowledge of labour management tools.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making abilities.
• Experience managing theatre services in private healthcare or NHS environments.
• Understanding of financial planning, budgeting and business development in a clinical setting.
• Experience with theatre scheduling software and electronic patient record systems.
• Evidence of continued professional development in leadership, quality improvement, or advanced perioperative care.
