Job summary

Circle Reading Hospital is seeking a Clinical Services Manager to lead the theatre team across perioperative stages, including anaesthetics, surgery and recovery. This full-time role (37.5 hours per week) requires a flexible shift pattern and offers a competitive salary up to £65,000 per year.

You will drive clinical standards, champion patient safety, support CPD, and ensure governance and infection control are observed.

Qualifications

• NMC or HCPC registered practitioner with perioperative leadership experience.
• Strong background in anaesthetics, scrub, or recovery within theatre settings.
• Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to influence, coach and develop others.

Responsibilities

• Lead the theatre team in delivering outstanding patient care across perioperative stages (anaesthetics, surgery, recovery).
• Foster a culture of compassion and respect through effective team engagement, communication and support.
• Drive clinical standards through evidence-based practice, audits and regulatory compliance.
• Lead by example in infection control, documentation, and governance.
• Support CPD and personal development to maintain clinical competence.
