Job summary

Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital is seeking a Theatre Practitioner (Scrub/ODP) to join our bank/part-time team. You’ll work across operating theatres supporting perioperative care and patient safety.

You must be registered with HCPC or NMC, have post-registration Scrub experience, and be a team player with excellent communication.

This role offers weekend work, a competitive hourly rate up to £25, and access to our pension scheme and gym discount.

Qualifications

• You must be registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC).
• Post-registration Scrub/Theatre experience required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a multi-disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
• Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities.
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
• Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting.
• Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based.
• Opportunities for continuous growth and development, including Surgical First Assist training.
