Job summary

Spire Dunedin Hospital in Reading is seeking a highly motivated Scrub Practitioner to join our Theatre Team on a flexible Bank. You will scrub for Consultant-led surgeries across orthopaedics, cosmetics, gynae and ENT, supporting a wide range of procedures in a fast-paced environment.

You must be a Registered Nurse or ODP with at least 2 years scrub experience and hold current NMC/HCPC registration with no restriction.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner with at least 2 years scrub experience.
• Current NMC/HCPC registration with no restriction on practice.
• Experience of working in teams with minimal supervision.
• Competence across a range of skills, supported by professional knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Scrub for Consultant-led surgeries across a range of specialisms (orthopaedics, cosmetics, gynae and ENT).
• Develop care plans matching patient pathway, perioperative risks and wellbeing.
• Assess patient health and wellbeing across a complex caseload and support in delivering care.
• Promote best practice, collect and organise data, and use information for assessment.
