Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a motivated scrub nurse or experienced scrub ODP to join our theatres teams in Sutton and Chelsea. You will lead on perioperative care, participate in resuscitation, scrub and circulation, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.

This role requires leadership qualities, a strong patient focus, and adherence to theatre policies.

Qualifications

• Registered theatre nurse or scrub ODP with leadership potential.
• Ability to provide high-quality perioperative care.
• Willingness to work within a theatre team and follow policies.

Responsibilities

• Carry out nursing care for patients as drawn up with the shift co-ordinator.
• Perform all tasks of a registered theatre nurse/ODP including resuscitation, scrub and circulation following theatre policy.
• Demonstrate knowledge of safe use of complex scrub equipment and sterilisation processes.
• Support senior staff and multidisciplinary team in maintaining clinical standards and staff development.
