Job summary

The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced scrub theatre nurse or ODP to join our Chelsea/Sutton theatres. You will lead a perioperative team, provide high-quality care, and participate in resuscitation, scrub and circulation for complex procedures.

Qualifications

• Registered theatre nurse or ODP with leadership potential.
• Ability to perform resuscitation, scrub and circulation following policy.
• Experience with complex scrub equipment and sterilisation processes.
• Commitment to high quality perioperative care and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Carry out nursing care for patients per shift plans.
• Perform resuscitation, scrub and circulation as per theatre policy.
• Supervise underqualified staff while maintaining a safe working environment.
• Demonstrate safe use of complex scrub equipment (diathermy, laparoscopy).
• Support multidisciplinary team and maintain high clinical standards.
