Pulse Nursing is looking for registered and experienced Band 5 & 6 Registered Scrub Nurses in the South West London area.

At Pulse, we understand that being a Registered Scrub Nurse can be challenging. We aim to simplify your work by handling tasks such as booking shifts, completing timesheets, and providing stability. We support Scrub Nurses in navigating difficult situations, so you can focus on your essential work.

Enjoy the flexibility to work when you want, with shifts available from Monday to Sunday. Our block bookings can be planned up to 3 months in advance.

We offer various shift patterns, including full-time hours, in South West London, paying between £25.50 and £40.00 per hour.

Theatre Scrub Nurse Responsibilities include:
  • Setting up the operating room and ensuring all tools are sterile and ready.
  • Handing tools to the surgeon and performing other duties inside the surgical room as requested.
  • Responding quickly and calmly to emergencies during surgery.
  • Assisting with patient draping and gowning.
  • Completing documentation and transferring patients to the recovery room.
  • Responsibilities may vary depending on location and skill level.
Requirements:
  • Valid NMC registration
  • At least 6 months recent UK NHS experience in the Scrub Sector
  • Ability to provide a clinical reference covering the last three years of employment
  • Enhanced DBS or documentation to apply for one
  • Right to work in the UK – proof required
