Job summary

The Wellington Hospital in London, part of HCA UK, seeks a Theatre Practitioner - Recovery to join the theatre team. You will provide expert post-anaesthetic care, monitor patients, and support airway management in the immediate post-operative phase, working with anaesthetists and surgeons in a leading private healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Current HCPC or NMC registration.
• Experience in recovery, theatre or acute clinical setting.
• Sound knowledge of post-anaesthetic care and patient monitoring.
• Understanding of theatre safety, governance and best practice standards.
• Excellent communication skills with a patient-focused approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, patient-centred care throughout the recovery phase following anaesthesia.
• Monitor patients’ observations and respond to changes in their clinical condition.
• Support airway management and effective pain control in the immediate post-operative period.
• Collaborate with anaesthetists, surgeons and multidisciplinary colleagues to provide seamless patient care.
• Maintain high standards of patient safety, governance and evidence-based clinical practice.
