Job summary

Circle Health Group is seeking a Theatre Practitioner for Goring Hall Hospital in West Sussex. This full-time, permanent role is 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern. Salary up to £38,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

We operate a busy theatres department and offer extensive training and development. Applications welcome from NMC or HCPC registered professionals with theatre experience, especially scrub, anaesthetics or recovery.

Qualifications

• NMC or HCPC registered to work in theatre.
• Experience or training in a theatre environment with scrub, anaesthetics, or recovery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare instruments and maintain sterility for theatre procedures.
• Anticipate surgeon needs and assist with equipment safety.
• Support anaesthetist with equipment prep, patient monitoring and positioning.
• Provide post-operative care and monitor vitals, pain and nausea.
• Ensure infection prevention and control policies are followed at all times.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for safe, efficient surgical lists.
