Daytime Healthcare are working with an excellent NHS hospital in Cheshire, who are seeking Band 5 Theatre Nurses and ODP`s to join them. These positions are suitable for entry level theatre nurses or experienced Theatre Nurses or ODP`s. The hospital may also consider experienced Staff Nurses who wish to transition into Theatre Nurse positions.

This is a great opportunity for local candidates and candidates that live in other parts of the UK that wish to relocate. Cheshire is a great area for relocation with excellent schools, recreational facilities, a thriving town centre, and good transport links.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Theatre Practitioner to join our surgical team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care during surgical procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients while assisting the surgical team. This position requires a thorough understanding of anatomy, infection prevention control, and critical care practices within a hospital environment.

Duties
  1. Prepare and maintain the operating theatre for surgical procedures, ensuring all necessary equipment and instruments are sterile and ready for use.
  2. Implement aseptic techniques to prevent infection and ensure a safe surgical environment.
  3. Conduct post-operative care, monitoring patients in recovery to identify any complications or concerns.

These positions are for candidates that are already based in the UK and have either NMC or HCPC Registration. Visa Sponsorship for UK based candidates can be considered.
