Theatre Practitioner is sought at Albyn Hospital in Aberdeen, part of Circle Health Group, to join the Theatre department on a full-time 37.5-hour contract. The role covers instruments prep, sterility, patient monitoring, and post-operative care, with flexible shifts and a salary up to £40,000 depending on experience.

Applicants should hold NMC registration or HCPC with theatre experience, and demonstrate infection control knowledge, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure

Qualifikationen

• Registered nurse (NMC) or ODP/HCPC registration.
• Theatre experience in scrub, anaesthetics, or recovery.
• Infection control and patient safety knowledge.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safe surgical practice.

Aufgaben

• Prepare instruments and maintain sterility for the surgical team.
• Support anaesthetist with equipment prep, monitoring, airway management, and patient positioning; assist in post-operative care.
• Maintain infection control policies and procedures at all times.
