Job summary

The Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor, part of Circle Health Group, seeks a Theatre Practitioner to join our Theatre department. This role offers a part-time position with 30 hours flexible shift patterns and a permanent contract.

The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse (NMC) or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC), with experience in theatre environments. Qualifications

• Experience or training in a theatre environment specialising in scrub, anaesthetics, or recovery.
• Understanding of infection control, manual handling, and patient safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team by preparing instruments and maintaining sterility.
• Support the Anaesthetist with equipment preparation and patient monitoring.
• Provide post-operative care and monitor vital signs.
• Adhere to infection prevention and control policies.
• Set up operating theatres according to surgery type.
• Check all surgical and anaesthetic equipment prior to use.
