Job summary
The Princess Margaret Hospital in Windsor, part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a Theatre Practitioner – Recovery for a permanent, part-time role. You will assist the surgical team, prepare instruments, maintain sterility, and support the anaesthetist and patient recovery.
A flexible shift pattern is required and benefits accompany the position. Applicants must be NMC registered or HCPC registered ODP with theatre experience in scrub/anaesthesia/recovery, strong infection control knowledge,
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (NMC) or ODP (HCPC)
- Experience in a theatre environment, scrub, anaesthetics or recovery
- Understanding of infection control and patient safety principles
Responsibilities
- Prepare instruments and maintain sterility, support surgeon and recovery care
- Assist anaesthetist with equipment prep, patient monitoring and positioning
- Set up operating theatres per surgery type and patient requirements
- Check surgical and anaesthetic equipment and report faults
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for safe and efficient lists
- Foster a positive, respectful theatre environment
