Role Overview
As our Recovery Theatre Practitioner with cath lab experience you'll be an important part of our operating theatre team, providing both clinical and technical assistance. You'll help to assess patient needs, and then implement and maintain agreed standards of care.You will work in our busy and dynamic operating theatre, as part of a multi-disciplinary team that’s setting the benchmark for clinical excellence.
We have 6 operating suites covering Cardiac, Orthopaedics, ENT and Ophthalmic, Plastics, General/Vascular, Urology and Gynaecology. And we work with surgeons who are the very best in their field.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
To be responsible for providing skilled clinical and technical assistance as a member of the post anaesthetic care unit(Recovery) team and to participate in the assessment of adult and peadiatric patient care needs and implement and maintain agreed standards of care.
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
NMC Registered Nurse (Adult and/or Children)
Alternatively, you’ll be HCPC registered with a Diploma or Degree in Health Care Studies. You might even be qualified to ODP Level 3 NVQ or ODA 752.
