Qualifications

  • Registered with NMC/HCPC and have at least 2 years of recovery experience.
  • Experience in a surgical/theatre setting is essential.

Theatre Recovery Practitioner | Private Hospital | 12 Month Fixed Term Contract | Theatres | Competitive Salary up to £39,000 per annum | Tollerton, Nottingham

Spire Nottingham Hospital has an exciting opportunity for a Recovery Theatre Practitioner to join the team on a 12-month Fixed Term Contract for maternity cover.

Note: You must be able to drive to access this hospital and apply for the role.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Supporting in assessing patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload.
  2. Assisting in delivering care tailored to patient needs in a busy department.
  3. Prepping recovery bays and caring for patients post-surgery.
  4. Providing and receiving complex, sensitive, or contentious information.
  5. Promoting best practices and contributing to quality improvements.
Who We're Looking For:
  1. Be NMC/HCPC registered with an unrestricted pin.
  2. Minimum of 2 years recovery experience.
  3. Experience working in a surgical/theatre setting.
  4. Enthusiastic, dedicated team player comfortable working with minimal supervision.
  5. Desirable: ALS and Airway Maintenance certifications (training available).

Note: You must be able to drive to access this hospital and apply for the role.

Working Hours:

Monday to Saturday, between 08:00 - 21:00.
