Are you a newly qualified Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) or due to qualify this summer? Are you looking to begin your career in a modern, purpose-built clinical environment where you’ll be fully supported every step of the way?

We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for newly qualified ODPs to join our growing team of theatre professionals at KIMS Hospital—the only private AfPP-accredited Theatres team in Kent.

As a new starter, you’ll be supported through a comprehensive and structured preceptorship programme, designed to guide you through your first few months in post with dedicated mentorship, clinical skills development, and professional support.

Main duties of the job
  • Work across all areas of theatres: anaesthetics, scrub and recovery
  • Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate safe patient care.
  • Communicate effectively across departments including Sterile Services, Imaging, and the Wards.
  • Uphold the highest standards of patient comfort, dignity, and confidentiality.
  • Practice within ethical, legal, and professional frameworks
