Job summary

Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 5 Registered Theatre Practitioner to work across scrub, anaesthetics and recovery at the Nightingale Hospital Exeter. The role accepts ODPs or RNs with anaesthetic training and offers opportunities to contribute to high-quality, patient-centred orthopaedic care.

The candidate will join the SWAOC team, supporting a national award-winning ambulatory centre with potential extension of shifts and availability.

Qualifications

• Registered Theatre Practitioner (ODP or RN with anaesthetic course).
• Able to work across scrub, anaesthetics and recovery.
• Demonstrates patient-centred care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide scrub, anaesthetic and recovery duties in orthopaedic theatre.
• Work flexibly across multiple subspecialties and sites.
• Contribute to safe, high-quality patient care and improvement initiatives.
