Isle of Wight NHS Trust is recruiting a Theatre Practitioner to join our multidisciplinary perioperative team at St Mary’s Hospital, Newport. You will work with Theatre Nurses and Operating Department Practitioners, providing high-quality care across the perioperative pathway in elective and emergency cases.

The role is full-time with shifts including evenings, weekends, nights and on-call. You will be based mainly with the main theatres but may rotate across all theatres as required.

Formación

• Registered nursing/operating department practitioner experience within perioperative care.
• Willingness to work across a range of theatres and duties.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, nights and on-call to support 24/7 service.

Responsabilidades

• Provide perioperative care across the pathway (scrub, anaesthetic may apply per qualifications, PACU as needed).
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care for elective and emergency surgery.
• Be adaptable to rotate across theatres and rosters as required.
