This role offers a competitive salary of £31,049 to £37,796 per annum, pro-rata.

To work as part of the multidisciplinary theatre team in providing the highest standards of care to all patients within the operating department
To comply with the HCPC Code of Professional Conduct/NMC Code of Conduct.
To comply with departmental principles of safe practice and agreed Trust policies and procedures, reporting discrepancies immediately they are discovered.
Communicate appropriately with all members of staff, patients and relatives.
Assist in the maintenance of a safe working environment and comply with health and safety regulations.
Work in other areas of the Trust if and when required.Participate as a team member/carryout duties in support of the theatre team.
At all times respect patient confidentiality and in particular, the confidentiality of electronically stored personal/manual data, in line with requirements of the Data Protection Act.
Assist in promoting an environment of awareness of current issues, i.e. Clinical Governance, Shared Governance, Trust issues, Political / Professional Issues.
Comply with Trust and Departmental Policies relating to the security, requisition and administration of drugs.
Participate in an on-call rota if required.
