Job summary

Nuffield Health Leicester Hospital is seeking a Theatre Practitioner (ODP/RGN) to work on a bank basis in Anaesthetics & Recovery. The role offers ad hoc hours and a competitive hourly rate up to £25, depending on experience.

The successful candidate will be registered with the relevant governing body (NMC/HCPC), bring post-registration experience, and demonstrate flexibility and excellent communication, with a strong team ethos to support patient care in a private healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Registration with governing body (NMC or HCPC).
• Post-registration experience.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a close-knit multidisciplinary team.
• Work with leading consultants and professionals.
• Handle a varied caseload with advanced theatres and facilities.
• Supervise and support junior staff.
• Create high-quality, evidence-based patient care experiences.
• Maintain continuity in patient care with colleagues on the ward.
