A Band 5 full-time post for an Anaesthetic / Scrub nurse has become available at Burnley General Teaching Hospital.

Main duties of the job

We have 11 theatres at the Royal Blackburn site and 17 at Burnley General. Together, we carry out a wide range of elective and emergency surgeries across many specialties, including Gynaecology, Obstetrics, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, Vascular, Colorectal, HPB, Urology, Orthopaedics, Trauma, ENT, Maxillofacial, and complex head and neck reconstructive surgery, including robotic-assisted surgery.

A second robot at Burnley General allows for robotic surgeries in gynaecological and urological cancers, expanding capacity for future Hepato-biliary surgeries.
