Job summary

Nuffield Health's Glasgow Hospital is seeking a dedicated perioperative theatre practitioner on a fixed-term maternity cover basis. You will work as a scrub/ theatre practitioner within a private hospital focused on orthopaedics, spinal surgery, ophthalmology and weight loss surgery, while supervising junior staff.

The role is full-time (37.5 hours per week) with opportunities for Surgical First Assist training and ongoing professional development in a cutting-edge surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC).
• Post-registration scrub experience in theatre.

Responsibilities

• Work in a multidisciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload.
• Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team.
• Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities.
