Job Description: Theatre Nurse / ODP - Anesthetics & Recovery (RGN / ODP)

Shrewsbury Theatres | Permanent | Part Time | Includes weekend work

Up to £34,000 pro rata depending on experience

30 hours per week

About us

Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities.

We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialize in the areas of orthopedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women's health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.

Qualifications
  • As a Theatre Nurse / ODP in Anesthetic & Recovery at our Shrewsbury hospital, you'll be registered with the appropriate governing body. You have the qualifications and experience that are relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC.
Experience
  • Plus, you bring post-registration experience, flexibility and excellent communication skills. You're also a great team worker.
