Liverpool University Hospitals - Aintree site is recruiting full and part-time Operating Department Practitioners and Registered Nurses who wish to develop their theatre skills. You will need drive and enthusiasm to learn new skills and gain further qualifications.
The Aintree site features 20 operating theatres across four departments, covering a wide range of surgical specialties. The trust is part of the Major Trauma Centre Collaborative (MTCC), a partnership between Liverpool University Hospitals and The Walton Centre NHS Foundation Trust, serving as the regional Major Trauma Centre for the North West, providing comprehensive services for severely injured patients from across the region.
As a single-site Major Trauma Centre for the North West, we operate a 24/7 emergency service, and staff are required to participate in this cover.

Liverpool Women’s Hospital is dedicated to women’s and babies’ health, delivering over 7,200 babies annually in the UK’s largest single-site maternity hospital. The Royal Liverpool University Hospital is the largest provider of inpatients with 100% single bedrooms, focusing on complex planned care and specialist services.
