Job summary

Theatre Manager role at The Christie Private Care, Manchester, part of HCA UK, is a full-time position (37.5 hours) based at The Christie Hospital. The role leads the Theatre department, ensures patient safety and high-quality perioperative care, and collaborates with the Head of Clinical Operations to drive service development and governance.

You will be responsible for staffing, lists, budget oversight and implementing new technologies to enhance clinical performance and patient experience

Qualifications

• Qualified practitioner with NMC/HCPC registration.
• Experience in leadership roles.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to implement evidence-based practice.
• Experience in perioperative governance or related clinical governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Theatre department under the Head of Clinical Operations.
• Deploy, supervise and mentor staff within the clinical area.
• Manage theatre lists and workforce with budgetary responsibility.
• Ensure patient safety and high-quality perioperative care in line with governance standards.
• Drive service development and introduce new technologies as required.
