Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Theatre Lead/Sister/Charge Nurse to provide skilled clinical and technical guidance, lead a delegated team, and drive operational management across the theatre department.

The post combines clinical leadership with management responsibilities, supporting staff development, governance, and patient-centred care in a busy theatre setting. 37.5 hours, on-site at multiple sites, with a focus on safety and service quality.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead a clinical team within a theatre environment.
• Experience in governance, risk management and quality assurance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the departmental team to ensure safe, high-quality theatre care.
• Oversee management of human, financial and physical resources across the theatre.
• Collaborate with clinicians to provide expert knowledge and role modelling.
