Ready to take your Nursing career to the next stage?

Are you a qualified adult Nurse looking to broaden your skills in a dynamic, supportive environment? This is your chance to train and grow in a specialist role within Kent’s only Private AfPP accredited Operating Theatre, a centre of clinical excellence.

We’re offering a fully supported training pathway to become a key member of our Perioperative team. You’ll gain hands-on experience and expert knowledge in all areas of the patient journey: anaesthetics, scrub, and recovery, delivering exceptional care in a fast-paced, highly specialised setting.

This role is ideal for a registered Nurse with at least 1 year post-registration experience eager to develop advanced skills, work with cutting-edge technology, and join a close-knit, forward-thinking team.

What you’ll get:

  • Full training in specialist procedures
  • Career development tailored to your ambitions
  • The chance to be part of a pioneering perioperative service
  • Supportive environment focused on continuous learning and professional growth

Contracted hours: 40 per week, worked flexibly between Monday and Saturday.

If you're ready to specialise, grow your skills, and shape your future in a theatre role like no other—we want to hear from you.

Role Responsibilities include:

  • Work with a variety of orthopaedic surgeons as a scrub practitioner
  • Assess, plan, implement patient care, and evaluate outcomes
  • Communicate effectively with other departments such as Sterile Services, Wards, and Imaging Department to ensure smooth patient care
  • Maintain patients’ comfort, dignity, and privacy at all times
  • Ensure your practice and that of others is within an ethical and legal framework

Who we're looking for:

  • Qualified and registered Nurse
  • At least 1 year's post-registration experience in a hospital environment
  • Patient-oriented with a focus on continuous service improvement
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development and its application

At KIMS Hospital, we value our people and focus on ensuring they feel happy and appreciated both professionally and personally. Our benefits package supports your emotional, financial, and physical wellbeing:

  • 33 Days annual leave plus extra time off for your birthday
  • Free secure staff parking
  • Private health insurance

  • Employee Assistance Platform
  • Retail discounts and cashback
  • Discounted gym membership
  • Free eye tests
