About the role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate Theatre Nurse / ODP to join a fantastic private hospital in Tunbridge Wells. The hospital boasts excellent facilities including 2 operating theatres, a sterile services department, an endoscopy suite, and a fully equipped diagnostic and imaging department. The hospital offers outpatient and physiotherapy services six days a week. This is a great opportunity for a motivated Theatre Nurse / ODP to join a friendly and experienced theatre team that is passionate about high-quality care and puts patients at the heart of everything they do. They are looking for a like-minded Theatre Nurse / ODP to join them.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist in scrubbing for consultant-led surgeries.
  • Scrub for a range of surgeries including Orthopaedics, General surgery, Gynaecology, ENT, Breast, and Ophthalmic.
  • Order and store specialised kits for surgeries.
  • Maintain and update surgeon preference cards.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Be NMC / HCPC registered with no restrictions or conditions on your pin.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  • At least 2 years of UK experience as a Scrub Nurse / ODP.
  • Orthopaedic experience is highly desirable.
  • ALS and Airway Maintenance certifications are desirable.
  • Good team player.
  • Excellent communication skills.
