About the role:

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Theatre Nurse / ODP to join a dynamic, experienced, and expanding team within a fantastic Private Hospital located in Kent. The hospital is ideally situated with easily accessible transport links. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of medical and surgical treatments, and the team prides itself on the high quality of care they provide. They are seeking a like-minded Theatre Nurse / ODP to join their team on a permanent basis. The team is passionate about person-centred care, putting patients at the heart of everything they do.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Assist patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures including ENT, orthopaedic, laparoscopic, ophthalmic, gynaecology, and urology.
  • Prepare the operating theatre for surgery, including instrumentation, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ensure the Patient Record is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Run a theatre list independently.

Who we’re looking for:

  • Be NMC/HCPC registered with an unrestricted pin.
  • Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
  • At least 2 years of UK theatre experience.
  • Experience working in a busy environment under minimal supervision.
