• At least 2 years UK theatre experience required.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK is necessary.
• Able to work independently under minimal supervision.

• Prepare the operating theatre for surgeries including necessary instruments and supplies.
• Complete the Patient Record accurately and timely.

About the role:

An exciting new opportunity has arisen for an experienced Theatre Nurse / ODP to join a dynamic, experienced, and expanding team within a fantastic Private Hospital located in Kent. The hospital is ideally situated with easily accessible transport links. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of medical and surgical treatments, and the team prides itself on high-quality care. They are looking for a like-minded Theatre Nurse / ODP to join them on a permanent basis. The team are passionate about person-centred care and put their patients at the heart of everything they do.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assist patients undergoing a variety of elective procedures including ENT, orthopaedic, laparoscopic, ophthalmic, gynaecology, and urology.
• Prepare the operating theatre for surgery including instrumentation, equipment, and supplies.
• Ensure the Patient Record is completed in a timely and accurate way.
• Run a theatre list without supervision.

Who we’re looking for:

• Be NMC/HCPC registered—your pin must not have any restrictions or conditions.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.
• At least 2 years UK theatre experience.
• Experience working in a busy environment under minimal supervision.
