Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. The service is ideally situated within easy reach of public transport links, local shops and amenities. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Theatre Practitioner / nurse join their friendly theatre team, focussing on orthopaedic scrub. The team put their patients at the heart of everything they do and looking for a like-minded Theatre Practitioner / Nurse to join them. The service provides comprehensive diagnostic services and a variety of surgical procedures. The hospital has 5 operating theatres, including three laminar flow theatres for orthopaedic surgery.
Duties and responsibilities
You will be working as a Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner / Nurse part of the theatre team and will be responsible for:
Caring for patients undergoing a range of proceduresProviding exemplary planned care for patients within the perioperative stageScrubbing for a variety of procedures and working across varied specialitiesAccessing patients needs, implementing and evaluating their careWho we’re looking for
Valid NMC / HCPC registration – your pin must not have any restrictions or conditionsEligibility to live and work in the UKAt least 2 years orthopaedic scrub experience in the UK is essential for this positionCompassionate and able to showcase excellent patient carePrevious experience in a similar settingStrong communication skillsBenefits:
