Theatre Nurse Manager (5940) Chelmsford, England

Salary: GBP40000 - GBP44000 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Theatre Nurse Manager at a private hospital in Chelmsford, Essex. Join one of the UK's leading healthcare providers in a patient-focused environment that offers exceptional standards of care outside London.

Requirements: Must hold an NMC or HCPC Registration

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure effective communication among hospital departments, consultants, and stakeholders.
  2. Be a key member of the Hospital Management Team, promoting leadership and collaboration to deliver efficient healthcare services.
  3. Communicate and embed the hospital's vision and strategy.
  4. Facilitate staff training, revalidation, CPD, and maintain professional profiles.
  5. Support clinical supervision and participate as appropriate.
  6. Manage and support a team of nurses, healthcare support workers, and allied health professionals; coordinate multidisciplinary team activities.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  1. At least 2 years of relevant managerial experience in a senior role.
  2. Experience working in the independent healthcare sector is desirable.
  3. Experience with budget management is advantageous.
  4. Promote best practices in health, safety, and security.
  5. Engagement with quality programs such as the AfPP Audit pack.
  6. Ability to prioritize workload effectively.
  7. Commitment to providing safe, patient-centered care in line with NMC and HCPC standards.

Salary and Benefits:

  • £40,000 - £44,000 per annum
  • Full-time, permanent role working day shifts
