Theatre Manager

York Hospital | Theatre | Permanent contract | Full time | Includes weekend work
Salary - up to £52,500 per annum dependent on experience
37.5 hours per week

As a Theatre Manager at our York Hospital, you’ll need a nursing/practitioner qualification, specialist training, and significant senior-level experience in a clinical setting. Skills in teaching, assessment, and ILS/ALS are highly desirable. A professional management qualification would be an advantage.

As a Theatre Manager, you will:

• Be operationally responsible for our Theatre and Endoscopy teams
• Ensure the delivery of high-quality, clinically effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Build strong relationships with consultants, senior leaders, healthcare professionals, and patients
• Lead, motivate, and supervise multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborate to ensure patients receive the best possible treatment and care
• Manage budgets, business planning, and clinical governance
