Theatre Manager

Up to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience

As a Theatre Manager at our Haywards Heath Hospital, you’ll bring a nursing/practitioner qualification, specialist training, and impressive senior-level experience in a clinical setting. Ideally, your wide-ranging skills will include teaching and assessment, as well as ILS/ALS. A professional management qualification would also be an advantage.

As a Theatre Manager, you will:

  • Be operationally responsible for our Theatre and Endoscopy teams
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality, clinically effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Build strong relationships with consultants, senior leaders, healthcare professionals, and patients
  • Be fully accountable for leading, motivating, and supervising multidisciplinary teams
  • Work collaboratively to ensure patients benefit from the best possible treatment and care
  • Be trusted with budget management, business planning, and clinical governance

Opened in 1993 and close to the centre of Haywards Heath, the hospital provides a wide range of medical services from minor procedures to major surgical specialties. It features three operating theatres (one laminar flow), comprehensive outpatient facilities including a 3T MRI scanner, an onsite pre-assessment clinic, physiotherapy department, and 26 en-suite rooms.
