Job summary

Birmingham Hippodrome is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Management Accountant to support the Finance Team in maintaining robust financial records and delivering timely reporting across the organisation.

The role involves processing postings, reconciliations, and assisting with monthly reporting and year-end processes, collaborating with Heads of Department, and helping with budgeting and forecasting.

Qualifications

• Must-have AAT Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• Excellent Excel skills with advanced functions and modelling.
• Strong communication and reporting skills, attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process day-to-day financial transactions including expenses and bank postings.
• Code and process sales, visitor services and events income and costs.
• Prepare monthly reconciliations and assist year-end processes.
