Creative Scotland is offering a Professional Development Secondment in its Theatre team in Scotland. The role provides an opportunity to gain experience within Scotland’s national arts agency while supporting the country’s vibrant theatre sector.

The successful candidate will work on developing and delivering theatre work, understanding funding assessment, and building relationships with artists, organisations and venues.

Qualificações

• Significant experience of working within the theatre sector.
• Strong understanding of theatre development, production, presentation, touring and/or promotion.
• Experience in managerial and/or project leadership responsibilities.
• Understanding of Scotland’s contemporary theatre landscape and its artists, practitioners, organisations, companies, producers, venues, festivals and networks.

Responsabilidades

• Contribute to the development and delivery of Creative Scotland’s work across the theatre sector.
• Develop experience of funding assessment, monitoring and decision-making.
• Contribute to projects and initiatives supporting the development needs of theatre in Scotland.
• Build relationships with theatre artists, practitioners, organisations, companies, producers, venues, festivals and networks.
• Contribute to strategic approaches and activity supporting audiences, participants and the wider sector.
• Work effectively across organisational and professional boundaries.
