Job summary

A leading private hospital group is seeking an experienced Theatre Clinical Practice Facilitator to enhance the capabilities of their Theatre team. This role focuses on staff education, competency assessment, and the implementation of best practices in a dynamic perioperative environment. The ideal candidate will possess a first-level degree and have significant experience overseeing educational roles within the perioperative context.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of postgraduate experience in the perioperative environment.
  • At least 1 year in an educational role.
  • Registered with NMC or HCPC.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitating and assessing competencies in the theatre team.
  • Identifying learning needs and implementing solutions.
  • Conducting audits and implementing best practices.

Our client is actively inviting experienced Theatre Clinical Practice Facilitators to apply.

The World’s largest private hospital group; providing award winning acute and complex care.

In this role you will ensure the Theatre team is supported in maximising their potential in the Perioperative environment. This will be through facilitating and assessing of competencies, identifying learning needs gaps and putting structures in place to meet those learning needs. Specific responsibilities of: staff education, audit, implementation of best practice and incident review.

The theatre team comprises of Consultants and Practitioners who have vast experience and knowledge across a range of specialties. There are many complex procedures carried out daily, across a range of acute specialities, including Gynae & Obstetrics, as well as general and paediatric surgery.

Skills & Experience

  • An expert within the perioperative environment with previous educational experience and a proven track record of managing change.
  • Be in possession of a first level degree/equivalent experience
  • Have a minimum of 5 years post graduate experience working in the perioperative environment. Have a minimum of 1 years’ experience of working in an educational role
  • Be registered with either NMC or HCPC
