Bupa is hiring a Perioperative Healthcare Assistant for New Victoria Hospital in Kingston upon Thames. The role involves assisting the theatre team, maintaining patient dignity and delivering high-quality care in a busy perioperative environment.

The successful candidate will have at least 6 months perioperative HCA experience, GCSEs in English and Maths, and strong planning, communication and teamwork skills. Permanent, full-time 37.5 hours, salary £27,878 per annum.

Formación

• Minimum 6 months experience as a HCA within a perioperative setting.
• Educated to GCSE or equivalent including English and Maths.
• Strong planning and organising skills.
• Exceptional communicator with good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Support the perioperative team pre, during and after surgery.
• Build rapport with patients and respond to distress with care.
• Scrub and circulate for procedures as allocated by qualified staff.
• Maintain safety and compliance with risk assessments and procedures.
• Ensure equipment and instruments are kept in working order and safe.
• Assist with stock control and department cleanliness and readiness.
• Assist with moving and positioning patients for surgery.
