Job summary

The London Clinic is seeking a Band 3 Healthcare Assistant for its Theatres team at 20 Devonshire Place, London. You will support patients throughout their surgical journey, preparing equipment and assisting in theatre to ensure safe, personalised care.

You will work under supervision, carry out duties within your competency, and contribute to a high standard of care in a busy operative environment. Training and career development are supported.

Qualifications

• Experience in a theatre department is required.
• NVQ Level 2 in Operating Department Support or equivalent.
• Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare theatres, equipment, instruments before lists.
• Support patient transfer and positioning after surgery.
• Provide reassurance while respecting privacy and dignity.
• Assist scrub practitioner in circulating role and checks.
• Keep theatres clean and maintain infection control.
