Job summary

BCUHB North Wales is recruiting a Theatre Assistant to join the Wrexham Maelor Hospital Operating Theatres. The role starts at band 2, with progression to band 3 after completing in-house competencies, and a dedicated preceptorship programme.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high‑quality patient care in a supportive, non‑discriminatory environment. Welsh language skills are desirable, and sponsorship may be needed for non‑UK applicants.

Qualifications

• Level 3 health care qualification or relevant experience with clinical care duties.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and GDPR/general data protection.
• Experience in NHS setting and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of high standard patient care in theatre.
