Job description

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated restaurant supervisor to assist the restaurant managers in the day-to-day running of the restaurant and to deliver exceptional service to customers.

The supervisor role is ideal for an experienced waiter who prides themselves on product knowledge, providing excellent service, and connecting with each guest. The successful candidate will set an example for other waiters and help nurture and train them to excel.

Minimum requirements:

  • At least 1 year's experience in a quality restaurant

About the Supervisor role:

  • Provide exceptional service to guests
  • Participate in the delivery of all food and beverage services
  • Assist in setting up the restaurant and events
  • Nurture and develop new commis waiters
  • Adhere to all company policies and departmental procedures/trainings
  • Coordinate with key personnel to ensure food and service standards meet company standards
  • Handle guest requests courteously and effectively, referring to the line manager if necessary

Hours per week: 45

Qualifications:

  • Leaving Cert level education or above
  • NVQ qualification or equivalent
  • Passion for food, beverage, and customer service
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Proactive and hands-on approach
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills
