About

The Tape Agency is expanding and looking for a fun, organised, and enthusiastic PR Senior Account Executive to support the PR team and day to day running of a busy start-up office environment. This position is ideal for those with 2 years of PR and events experience (ideally agency side) working across beauty and lifestyle brands and social awareness campaigns.

Responsibilities and opportunities include

MEDIA OUTREACH: Building and developing press and influencer contacts and your pitching experience with proactive outreach to drive results for clients across the board. Responding to incoming media requests and collating necessary content.

CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT: Getting involved in creative brainstorms, campaign ideation, creative mailer and events as well as supporting on proposals, press release writing and eblast creation.

PRESS OFFICE RUNNING: Managing all client assets including media lists, calendars, brand and spokespeople quote banks, award entries and sample management as well as supporting the Account Manager and Account Director with client management. Managing all send outs and mailers and supporting the wider and running of the press office.

• Willing to get stuck into any activity in a fast-paced environment and do what it takes to get the job done
• Ability to multitask and work across different clients and projects at once
• Creative and quick thinking, with an excellent attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Shows strong initiative and communicates efficiently with the senior team

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

• At least 2 years experience in the communications industry
• Highly organised and self-motivated
• Strong communications skills, written and verbally
• Creative and proactive
• Good working knowledge and interest in social media and influencers
• Experience in the beauty, wellness & lifestyle landscape
• Exceptional knowledge of the ever-changing media landscape
• The ability to work to and set clear KPIs
• Experience in event production
• Strong press and influencer contacts
• Strong pitching skills to convert coverage

Technical know-how and qualifications:

• Good knowledge of Word, Excel, CANVA, PowerPoint, MMI /Traakr / Cision, Adobe Acrobat Pro and Teams/Zoom/Google Meets
