The Den Wrap-around Children’s Supervisor

Contract: Type Permanent

Job Start Date: As soon as possible

Actual Salary: NJC Scale 1 Spinal Column 2, £4,960.46 per annum

8.75 hours per week term time only 3.15-5.00pm (worked over 5 days) term time only

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and confident children’s supervisor to support our Wrap-around provision.

The post will involve:

  • Supporting the day-to-day organisation of the club (in liaison with the Wrap-around Club Leader)
  • Supporting the administration aspects of the service
  • Liaising with parents of children attending the club
  • Supervising children, aged 4 to 11 years old, at the club
  • Liaising with other school staff

The Lyppard Grange Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and we expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; pre-employment checks will be carried out, references will be sought and verified, online checks undertaken, and successful candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and other relevant checks with statutory bodies.
