We have an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of Art/Textiles/DT to join a wonderful school based in Hillingdon/Uxbridge, West London.

The successful candidate will teach art, textiles, and/or DT across all secondary years up to year 11. GCSE courses are a popular choice within a growing and well-resourced department.

Start Date: September 2024

Position: Textiles Teacher (Key Stages 3-4)

Type: Full time

Salary: £150 - £255 per day (Pay to scale)

Requirements

1. Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Plan and prepare lessons to a high standard, using diverse delivery methods to facilitate student learning
3. Create a supportive learning environment where all students can achieve their potential
4. Assess, record, and report on students’ progress and attainment, maintaining accurate records
5. Prepare students for internal and external examinations, including recording accurate data
6. Manage behaviour appropriately in line with the School Behaviour Policy
