Job summary

Stafflex are recruiting on behalf of a well established textiles manufacturer to join their finishing team on the night shift in HD9.

The role requires some textiles experience and comfort with heavy lifting. You will measure fabric lengths, cut rolls to size, lift rolls and operate large industrial machines to meet daily production targets. Nights are 4:30pm–2:30am with a night shift allowance.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with doing a physical role that involves heavy lifting.
• Good with numbers as you will need to accurately measure fabric lengths.
• Ideally drive due to the shift times when on nights.
• Some textiles experience / background knowledge or other transferable skills.

Job Title: Textiles production operative

Salary: £13.17 p/hr + night shift allowance

Location: HD9

Stafflex are currently recruiting on behalf of our client who are a well established textiles manufacturer and are looking for a night shift worker to join their finishing team.

The ideal candidate would be someone who has some experience in textiles and is OK with heavy lifting / manual handling.

• Lifting the rolls of fabric
• Operating large industrial machines
• Meet production targets by following job cards

Hours:

Training:

6am - 2pm for the first couple of weeks

After Training (nights):

4:30pm - 02:30am + night shift allowance
