Job summary

A Machine Operative is sought for a busy Preston manufacturing site. You will operate and monitor production machinery, feed materials through the process, and perform quality checks on finished textiles to meet UK and international customer standards.

The role follows a four‑day week, 6:00am–4:15pm, Monday to Thursday, Fridays off. Immediate start is available in a friendly, supportive team with on‑site parking and good transport links. This is a temporary ongoing assignment.

Qualifications

• Experience operating production machinery is advantageous but not essential.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring production machinery.
• Feeding materials through the manufacturing process.
• Carrying out quality checks on finished products.
