We are seeking two Fitter/Testers to join the Fuels section of our Aerospace client based in Titchfield, Fareham, on a PAYE contract basis.

Important:

Candidates should have experience in assembly (including bench-based and mechanical) and testing of aerospace components. The role requires individuals who can assemble aerospace components using various techniques and conduct thorough testing according to specifications. Successful candidates should demonstrate cooperation, flexibility, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision once trained.

Key Responsibilities:

• Precisely fitting aerospace components using various techniques
• Efficiently producing work within cost parameters
• Proactively communicating, including asking for clarification when needed
• Maintaining a clean and productive working area
• Demonstrating a cooperative and flexible attitude

Requirements:

• Previous assembly experience
• Ability to understand and follow detailed drawings
• Excellent hand dexterity
• Willingness to learn and adapt

Preferred Experience:

• Prior experience in fuel testing
• Aerospace assembly experience

PAYE Rates + Holiday Pay:

• MT4 Core days: £15.15, rising to £15.61; Overtime x1.5; Sundays x2
• MT5 Core days: £15.76, rising to £16.24; Overtime x1.5; Sundays x2
• MT6 Core days: £16.28, rising to £16.77; Overtime x1.5; Sundays x2

Rates are scheduled to increase in April based on experience. Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK and adhere to ITAR restrictions.
