Base pay range

Scaling UK business is looking for a high-caliber Tester / QA Engineer with experience in the Microsoft Dynamics 365 / D365 space, to join this small but growing team. The employer offers fully remote work with monthly meet-ups.

Largely greenfield work, there is a lot to get stuck into and you will be the sole QA on the D365 product at the moment, working across the CE modules.

Currently, testing is largely manual and they would welcome someone who wants to explore automation with them.

About the role

• You will work closely with the product specialist, functional consultants and business analyst to ensure that requirements are clearly defined and challenged.
• You will be an advocate for functional and non-functional excellence in everything you do, in line with modern UX principles, operational efficiency, and standards regarding security, resilience, and scalability.
• You will collaborate with the product specialist and business analyst to ensure acceptance criteria for all user stories are clearly defined and captured and solutions delivered by 3rd parties fully meet the agreed functional design and holistic business needs.
• Defining clear test cases that align to defined acceptance criteria that cover all use cases and give appropriate consideration to edge cases, failure cases, and non-functional considerations (scale, security, and resilience), ensuring that test cases are executed for all deliveries and that defects are appropriately triaged and remediated.
• Identify test cases that represent good candidates for automation and to use appropriate tooling to create automated tests.
• Ensure good quality test environments are available and, where possible, that appropriate automated processes are in place to align these to production, scale these out, and refresh data as required.

• Experience across manual and automated testing with a wiliness to do both and see the value in both.
• Experience across functional and non-functional testing.
• Experience in change and process management.
• Experience in a scaling or acquisitive business environment beneficial.
