Job summary

Recruit 12 is seeking a Test & Validation Engineer to join our client's advanced engineering and manufacturing team in the United Kingdom. You will help plan and deliver validation activities, supporting prototype builds and real-world machine testing across construction, agriculture and industrial sectors.

You will analyse results, apply engineering insights to improve durability and reliability, and work with multidisciplinary teams to drive quality improvements and successful product

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Agricultural, Mechatronics or related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years in product development, test engineering or validation environments.
• Experience supporting testing, development or validation activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver test and validation activities aligned with programme objectives.
• Create and execute validation plans to assess performance, durability and reliability.
• Support prototype builds and evaluate machine performance in real-world operating environments.
• Analyse test data and use engineering insights to improve product quality and robustness.
• Conduct laboratory, rig and machine-based testing activities.
• Investigate technical issues and support structured root cause analysis activities.
• Interpreting machine and test data to identify trends, risks and improvement opportunities.
• Support corrective actions through to successful validation and implementation.
• Work closely with engineering teams to improve product performance and customer value.
• Support engineering reviews, gateway assessments and change management activities.
